March for Babies Luncheon Kick Off 2012 Team Stephies Star

My wife was invited to speak in front of people to tell her story about her daughter Stephanie Lynn for the March for Babies luncheon kick off in Lakeland .

She was nervous and had been practicing and re-writing her story .

Finally when the day came she stood up in the podium and told her story and even though she broke down in some areas she still stood her ground and finished . Everyone stood up and gave a big applause , Many had tears running down their faces and others were so inspired by her story they wanted her to come speak to their event .

I love my wife and I was so proud of her standing up there in front of alot of people .

Stephanie Lynn lives again and now she lives in this luncheon group hearts .

As we get ready to start off the 2012 March for Babies with Team Stephie's Star , Stephanie now lives more and more as her story will spread throughout the Polk County area .

Early Pre - Valentines Day Gift Surprise

Well I was trying to hold out on this valentines gift for my wife but the New York Giants have went on to the Superbowl with surprise .

I knew they were gonna make it to the playoffs but didn't think they would go this far but again the Giants surprise me , So now I had to surprise my wife with this gift of earrings and necklace .

I might as well give it to her now just in case if they lose at least she can wear the jewelry for two weeks prior to the Superbowl .

At first she did not want to open it cause she thought this would be her only gift for Valentines day but I assured her this wasn't .

But again she was happy with her gift and that's all that counts .

But now I have to work on her real gift for the real Valentines Day .

Ruby Got a New Winshield

Well after months or a year of my wifes car Ruby has had a cracked winshield and it has been bothering the hell out of her , She finally got it replaced .

What started from a tiny cracked anded up with a bunch of cracks that was in the way of driving .

But now my wife is happy she has a new windshield and a new decal and now she can see the people who she is honks at when she drives .

Our Wedding Song

With our Wedding Anniversary around the corner and myself messing with the windows live video maker the one thing my wife and I never had was a video of our wedding .

So I decided to take our wedding photos and our wedding song and make a story with it .

I was amazed how nice it came out and it made me proud looking at it and being proud of being married to my wife .

We all do not live forever but this video will be our forever for the world to see our wedding and our love for each other .

It was nice to look through my wedding photos and it was hard to pick out these photos cause they all were nice , But these really stood out to make a story .

So instead of pulling out the photo album now we have something we can listen to and watch every year for the rest of our lives .

Well finally today I finished my wife's video editing of her car for YouTube .

What took weeks to take because we are so busy I finally edited and upload it on YouTube .

Now my wife will be happy that her car has her own video out there for all to see .

Ruby is what my wife named her Corolla , It's a 1998 with a 2002 front end conversion I did and a body kit music and much more .

This car has over 300,000 miles and has taken us all over the east coast of the U.S.A .

You cannot go wrong when you buy a Corolla they last long as long as you change the oil and take care of them .

Love Bugs Adventures Surprise Trip Lehigh Acres Florida

Here we go on our second surprise trip to Lehigh Acres Florida .

This was gonna be a long trip and we were ready to roll . My wife packed some drinks and food because after a misunderstanding on which car we were going in, we both actually filled our cars up .

But finally after making a decision we will be taking my car and her car will stay at home with a full tank of gas, which was fine with us but we wouldn't be able to go out to eat so instead packing food is more romantic and brings us closer because it's not how much money you spend on eating it's about who you are eating with .

Well this surprise trip was gonna be tricky cause we had to track these friends down before we took off because they just had a baby plus this drive would be long and at any chance they could not be where they are suppose to be .

Plus to keep the tradition of being a surprise and not a local surprise even made it challenging .

We would have hated to drive 2 hours to find out they weren't home or had plans , plus we didn't want to give ourselves away .

But back to the story, My wife packed her blanket and pillow cause she had to work the next morning and we were leaving later in the day .

When we arrived at their moms house we were both nervous cause it's not like we were going to their house but we were surprising them at someone else's house .

So my wife texted Kasey to make sure where she was cause when I texted Jesson he never texted back .

So after locating one of them we finally went up to the door and knocked but before we arrived to the door we were greeted by a little chi wa wa .

But in the end we surprised Kasey as we brought her a gift for the new born baby .

So after arriving around 5:30pm we waited on Jesson to show up and that was more of a challenge but in the end he arrived around 7:30pm and surprised us cause we were all waiting and we let our guard down he walked in the house while we were chatting .

But oh well the main thing is we surprised them both and my wife got a chance to hold the baby .

After we all caught up and had some good laughs cause we haven't seen them since the summer of last year, my wife and I needed to head home, it was around 10:00pm by this time still had a long drive .

My wife slept on the way home and by the grace of God who kept me awake we made it around 12:30a. because at first we were hunting down Dunkin Donuts then my wife passed out and I just said screw it cause it was taking time away looking for one .

With our second surprise trip under our belts we now will rest up and plan our next adventure .

Chick - fil - A Cow Board # 42

As 2012 begins we found a Valentines Chick - fil - A cow board sign in Tampa on I-275 .

I don't know how I lost track of all the cow signs my wife has found but I added 2 of them I did not post and we are on cow board #42 .

I'm sure this year we will find more but the great thing is I'm finding them with my wife and we are having a good time hunting them down .

Love Bugs Adventures Surprise Trip St. Petersburgh Florida

Well finally " Love Bugs Adventures Surprise Trips " have began . Our first victims were Julie& Mike from St. Petersburgh Florida .

Before we headed out to surprise them we stopped at Chilis which was only 20 minutes away from their house to eat because we didn't want to get there early, What kind of surprise would it be if we arrived early. We wanted to make sure it was dark and they were in bed .

Well when we arrived to their home we scouted out the area and made sure we had a plan . First we were gonna knock on the door and run then wait around 20 or 30 minutes so that they would be trying to figure out what was going on and that way they wouldn't be waiting for us to come back and bust us .

After around 20 minutes passed we parked the car on the side of the house and went to the door and knocked on it and ducked .

When Mike opened up the door Judi jumped up and yelled surprise, he jumped back and I snapped away with the camera .

Julie was still in bed and I ran by her room and snapped some photos .

They were both surprised which was what we had intended to do. We haven't seen them since November so we thought this would be a good way to keep in touch since our hours of work are not going out friendly so my wife and I had to figure out a way to have a good time and still see our friends when we have off .

We arrived there around 8pm and didn't leave till around 10 , Julie had to go to work early in the morning but my wife and I didn't . But in the end we had a blast and caught up on things . This was our first surprise trip and there will be many more to come as we set up other victims to our random surprise . It can be you who is reading this we will surprise next .

But know this who ever we go and surprise you will make our adventure enjoyable .

Feliz Dia De Los Reyes 2012 with Blessings

Well you couldn't have asked for a better day then today which is called " Three Kings Day " or in Spanish " Dia De Los Reyes " .

On this Friday I was scheduled to do 2 part time shifts at Hungry Howie's , Which meant I would be in for a long day .

But what I didn't expect to happen was on my first delivery I had 80 boxes of pizza's 10 boxes of 50 wings and 10 boxes of bread plus 19 soda's .
My Corolla was packed and hot as hell even with my windows down I was sweating all the way to my delivery at St. Leo's College .

On That delivery I walked away with a $30.00 tip , But that was only the first delivery and there still was the rest of the day and night .

As the the day went on my tips were a minimum of $5.00 then I took my lunch and started the second half of my shift it was looking even better .

As day turned into night it was getting even better and then when I realized what day it was I knew the Three Kings blessed my night and gave me the best gift ever .

When i cashed in at the end of the night I had $1,115.25 in delivery money and $90.00 in tips in only 20 deliveries and I had worked from 11 am till 11 pm .
The Three Kings were watching over me giving me blessings on this day .

Our First Date Night of 2012

Well finally after months and months of working and always being to tired to go out we finally a date night to begin 2012 .

We finally get to use our Outback Steak House gift cards today and had a very nice meal .

I had ribs and steak with a bake potato and my wife had chicken covered with cheese and mushrooms .

Now hopefully our days off will be on the same day or else were gonna have to modify how we go out either way this year will be a challenge but a good year with each other .

First Hard Winter Freeze Hits Lakeland Florida Today

Well finally our first hard freeze hits Lakeland Florida tonight .

A Siberian cold air bubble which started on Tuesday has finally reached us tonight .

Even though it's in January which is a surprise but tonight is suppose to be in the low 26 and for us Floridians that means it is time to break out the blankets and start covering the plants that are not cold friendly .

When I first moved down here and seen people cover there plants with sheets I thought they were pretending to have snow caused it was in December when I experienced my first freeze in 1995 .

After learning why they covered their plants I felt like a dummy waking up to dead plants .

Lesson learned now that we have our first avocado tree which has survived about 3 winters and we almost lost this tree 2 times already but finally last year I came up with a idea cause it seemed like even though you placed a blanket on the tree the leaves already got frost burnt . Always killing the top point of the tree making it grow sideways . You can still see on the tree the old top growing point where is died from the freeze , But the new top point is looking good and strong .

So last year I finally made a frame out of wood so that the blanket does not touch the tree and the tree is covered safely under the blankets and the new top of the tree will not be touching anything and my idea worked and created a new top point aside of the old dead one .

So now that the success of surviving last years winter and my wife taking care of it through the summer this avocado tree has sprouted and grown to almost 7 feet tall and it won't be as easy to cover and protect the new top point .

But I came up with a idea and some poles to make a tee pee like the native Indians lived in and covered the avocado tree . It didn't work to well so luckily I had a ladder and it was taller but once this freeze is over I will be better prepared this time around . But I still manage to cover the tree and the plants and hopefully tomorrow we will have good results .

This Bradford Pear tree was planted in our front yard on March 18 , 2011 and the photo with my wife standing next to it was taking January 2012 . How amazing the tree has grown since my wife has been nurturing it .

And in these photos below my wife transferred the avocado tree to a open spot on March 18 , 2011 and the second photo was taken in the summer around August and the bottom photo was taken in January 2012 . Now that's progress and shows how my wife has a green thumb when it comes to her plants .

Well as the year comes to the end I made a video to look back on the good times my wife and I had .

Even though 2011 was not as adventurous as last year because of the economy , our health plus our jobs interfering with things but it still turned out to be a blessed one . Any chance i get to spend with my wife doing things together is the greatest feeling ever .

I have learned to edit videos and still learning , my picture skills are improving and my photo shopping skills are getting there .

I still think this idea of my diary being open to everyone to enjoy our adventures was the best idea ever and motivates me to try new things with the wife and not to get into a routine where we do the same thing over and over . Yes some places we may re-visit but if we can continue to do more different things it will not only spice our marriage up but it will give us a exciting life together while on this earth .

I think once our finance improves after the tax season even though the gas prices may rise we will be definitely be doing more day trips . I have been searching the Internet for local places in Florida that we haven't done yet because maybe leaving the state will be hard to do , Seems like when we started working full time even though our bills were paid we couldn't do as much then when we were both not working or working part time we explored the east coast of the United States .

But as we leave 2011 behind with good memories we look forward to 2012 for more memories .

Happy New Year to all who have passed away in our lives , We will never forget you for as long as we shall live .

To my wife I love you and will treasure you for ever . To my friends I will never forget all the good times and looking forward to many more . To our family be safe , keep in touch and never forget the memories of growing up .

We are never guarantee how long we have on this earth , But we can wake up every morning thanking God and try to live the best we can and do the most we can because life is only for awhile but death is eternity .

New Years Eve Legacy of the Temptations

Well on this night of New Years Eve 2011 my wife had the privilege to meet the Temptations and photo them as they are rehearsing for a show where my wife works at . As she called me to tell me that they took a photo with her and signed her flyer as well as gave her other items to keep .

I guess in a way she is blessed to fall into a job where you can meet famous people as well as work in a place where it's friendly co workers and the company does alot for their employees .

I guess I won't be seeing much of my camera because everyday she brings it to work with her to catch someone famous . So I guess I will be doing alot of videos when it comes to my work journeys .

But the main thing is she loves her job and is having fun which she hasn't had a job like this before and she will get to take the Temptations to the airport cause not only she checks guest in and make sure things run ok she becomes a part time shuttle bus driver picking up and dropping off the guest entertainers .

Christmas Dinner Party 2011

Well this year for Christmas dinner instead of the wife making dinner she went to her niece's house cause she was cooking & had invited us.

My wife made a Cranberry Orange bread to bring to the dinner .

Dinner was cooked & there was Turkey & stuffing, Ham, green bean casserole, Mashed potatoes & gravy, wine & beer .

Even though we were ready to go out afterwards, after eating dinner and drinking a beer I got stuffed and tired and so did my wife .
So instead we changed our plans for another day .
But the dinner was good and the company was great .
Not only did we celebrate Christmas there was a birthday party too .

Christmas Eve 2011

Since my wife had to work on Christmas Day we decided to open our presents up on Christmas Eve .
Even though we didn't have alot of money to spend we both came to a decision to buy what we needed.

This Christmas Eve would not only be special cause I'm with my wife and sharing our presents but it is the first time in a long long time I spent Christmas with my daughter .

When she turned 18 she moved in with me and I haven't seen her or spent family time with her for about 10 years so I missed most of her time growing up but won't miss the rest of her life being an adult.

Well my wife got a laptop so now I can use the regular computer with out her waiting for me to get off because I'm on it all the time. Then from there I bought her a Dunkin Donuts gift card cause she loves to go there in the morning. Her final surprise was the pearl necklace, earrings & bracelet from Kay Jewelers. Plus we both got a $25 gift card from my daughter to Outback Steak House .

My daughter got a hair brush and hamper so she can put her dirty clothes in them and not on the floor and she can stop borrowing my hair brush . Then my wife bought her 2 shirts to go out with .

Last I finally received 2 colognes so I can stop using my wife's perfume and a new wallet since my wife washed my last one with everything in it so she even put a new wedding photo back in it which was a nice touch I also got a new belt and the best present of all I got my wife and my daughter together on one special night. Best Christmas ever 2011

My Wife Waking Up From Her Second Back Procedure

Well as my wife went for her second shot to her spine the nurse, doctors and I were having some fun .

This time instead of me laying her on the bed face down I made sure she was face up and could breathe better, looks like these shots are doing her good and hopefully her pain won't be as bad as it was in the beginning. Until next week and the third shot. We'll be back

Collecting on My Lunch Bet

Well the time has come for me to collect on a bet from a friend of mine, we've been betting on football for years.
His team was Tampa Bay Buccaneers and my team was the New York Giants. The bet was who had the better record of the season the loser had to buy the winner Chinese food . Other than the years when the Bucs won the super bowl they had about 3 good seasons but after that it has been down hill for my friend Chris .

This year I decided to video it cause we no longer work together but we are still in contact with each other and our friendship still continues .
It was another good time with a good friend .
Until next year 2012 I will always remember this lunch and if I forget I always have a video to watch .

My Wife Waking up from Back Procedure on Propofal

Well today my wife had to get a Epidural shot for her back pains but to her surprise I had the video camera cause I knew she was gonna be knocked out and since she taped me when I was out on my surgery I had to get her back. They gave her some propofal to put her to sleep which is what Michael Jackson had when he died. As I watch my wife fall asleep I still would never understand why Michael Jackson would take this every night. This stuff is powerful , But my wife made it through with alot of babbling which made it fun .

She has to go for more of these shots with in the next few weeks whether or not I video more is not yet known .

But the main thing is she gets better so that we can do alot this holiday season or going into next year .

She may be ready to get revenge on me cause I took a photo of her knocked out so I must be on my toes .

But the main thing is we love each other and we have a good time with each other and that is what makes a good marriage long lasting .

Chris Mac Donald Tribute to Elvis Presely Show

On this night when my wife worked she was able to see a Elvis sing a tribute show in December . She was so happy cause this is her type of music as well as the new music but she is more into the classics .

What a better way to start of in her new job is meeting Elvis .

Where my works at she get many benefits to meet singers from the past and your local talent . She even gets to see some of their shows and gets to take photos with them .

Chris Mac Donald was nice enough to give her a scarf signed and some other items .

The whole band got in the picture and she was very happy cause she called me non stop that night . Now i can imagine every time someone famous comes in I will be getting a call and now that she has taken my camera to work everyday to catch more people checking in .

We Cut Our First Florida Grown Christmas Tree

Today my wife and I will cut our first Christmas tree. Usually we purchase them from the side of the road but this year we decided to do something different.

While I was working I found this place and had it in mind that our next tree we would pick would be from a Christmas tree farm .

Lazy Lay Acres Christmas Tree Farm in Dade City Florida was where our tree would be coming from .

The address to this Christmas Tree farm is 14920 Swift Rd, Dade City, FL 33525 (352) 567-6808 . The people there were friendly and they let us bale & shake the tree on the shaker machine .

I think this years Christmas will be special cause this is the first time in our lives we ever owned a Florida home grown Christmas Tree. It's not to big and it's not to small it is just right . Plus since we both had an adventure and fun getting the tree it means alot .

Now as we leave it in water for a few days then we will decorate it and hopefully Santa will have presents underneath it for us .

Another Avocado Tree Born December 2011

Well my wife isn't happy with just one avocado tree so she started another one .

They take 5 years before you start seeing any avocado's and they can get big and the older they get the bigger the avocado is .

For the first year you keep it in water until the roots grow long and strong then for the second year you put the tree in a flower pot by the third year you plant it into the ground .
Avocado trees are not made for cold climates , so growing them in Lakeland is a challenge . I have seen one in Orlando and it was real big and that is further north east of Florida and gets colder but if we lived in the Miami area this tree will thrive .

Well as we watch this tree grow hopefully the first one we planted we will get to see some avocado's before we die .

I Made My First Homemade Pizza

Well today I made my own homemade pizza and I was proud .

Even though it took me two times to make the dough cause the first time I added to much water and it came out sticky but the next time it came out perfect .

I added some toppings such as pepperoni , peppers, onions, tomato, bacon & 6 cheeses.

It taste good for a first time homemade pizza but now I know next time use two boxes to make the dough thicker and definitely add some pineapple & ham .

Having Fun at the Wife's Christmas Work Party

Well today my wife's new job had a Christmas Party at The Red Rose Inn .

She's only been there a few weeks and was lucky to be invited to her first company Christmas Party.

There were free drinks, free food, music and karaoke for everyone to enjoy .

My wife got up and sang with her friends and I watched the New York Giants lose on a Monday Night game .

We got dressed up which we haven't done in a long time and it felt good and my wife looked beautiful .

But all in all it was fun and a very beautiful place .

As we get ready for the holidays this has kicked off the season for us .

I'm so proud of my wife and her job .

In Loving Memory of Breann Hargraves 7/4/77 - 11/16/11

My wife's friend's daughter passed away from breast cancer today .

She fought the hard battle and gave what life she had to her family and kids leaving them the most precious memories that any person can give to another person .

Today I made a special video to keep her spirit alive forever .

First time ever I made a video with music and the song I chose was from the movie I love " Titanic " . After reading the lyrics I felt it was the perfect song .

I surprise myself at times with things that I learn and realize I can do anything I put my mind to .

Corolla Car Club Proboards St. Augustine Trip

Good times again with our crew the day after the car show we usually have a last cruise and a good bye lunch . Last year we went to Daytona this year we went to St. Augustine where it was free to visit the fort.

It's amazing how you do things and they turn out for the better . In the end my crew lifted me up to show me the love they have for me and I really appreciated that . This just shows my wife and I that all the things we do for this crew they are happy in the end .

The video says it all but in the end we are family .

Good times with good friends at SR7 car show in Jacksonville had a blast .

Wasn't as cold as it was last year but the day started out early , Cruising to Daytona first to pick up some friends then off to the hotel in Jacksonville .

Being a president of a car club takes alot of work but in the end as long as everyone has fun that's all that counts . We had a great time and the video shows it to .

My wife and I haven't been out in a long while but this makes up for everything . We had a blast with each other and our friends can't say how much we enjoy their company .

14th Festival Hispano de Polk

My wife and I enjoyed ourselves at the 14th Festival Hispano de Polk in lakeland florida .

We have been to a few in the past but it has been a long time since we have so before I went to work we enjoyed good food , music and more .

I even did a video since now we have been doing alot of video taping of our trips .

As things are starting to look a little bit better with our finances our travels will be picking up and especially with the holidays in the future we definitely need to get back into the spirits of fun .

Even though we may have be doing little events as long as we are still together enjoying each other we still have fun no matter what .

Finally Got a Real Job

Finally after two years of searching for a 40 hr pay check I started my job today .

Yes I have been doing odd jobs , been steady at the part time pizza joint but it was time I needed to bring home a real income and have money to have our adventures again plus have the weekends off .

With one job I thought it was a dream but it was night shift another job became a miracle day shift 40 hrs and pays great .

The good thing is I got to choose my jobs and was not forced into a field that I wouldn't enjoy .

I think that's what working at the pizza place did for me it gave me a chance to find a good job . Even though this job is in a tough market cause it deals with housing and they have had lay offs at a high rate but as long as I'm working through a temp agency I still have time for thought and to search a secure job .

I guess driving forklifts is one thing I'm a professional at and at this job I'm loading up tresses .

They are big and hard to load cause I have done everything but this , But on the bright side I enjoy the work minus working outside in the rain & cold plus the Florida heat .

But I will still be keeping the pizza job whether it's one day a week or two but I do enjoy it cause I'm always in my car cruising and I love to drive around in my sexy Corolla .

But who knows this maybe the place that was meant for me but only the future can tell now .

Visiting Family at Hilton Hotel in Orlando

Well as my cousin Annmarie & her husband Mark came down with their son Damien for a business conference we spent a day with them at the Hilton hotel pool .

Even though it was a short visit for them them and we only got to see them twice we packed them in my corolla to take them to Mark's fathers house in Melbourne .

The time we spent was nice and the travel was fun . It got us out the house and see a part of Florida we never seen .

Well with breast cancer awareness month starting Hungry Howie's employees were given a pink shirt to show support and for every large pink box purchased went to breast cancer .

I wore this shirt faithfully for one month doing something different and then I come to realize that I knew someone who had breast cancer .

I might not have known them personally but through my wife her friend daughter had breast cancer and was dieing from the disease .

I don't know what made me want to wear the shirt for the month but I was getting alot of complements for wearing the shirt and delivering pizza to people who survived breast cancer or who are going through this process .

But now knowing what I know today I'm proud that I wore the shirt for the month and would do it again .

This was something else that was a first for me and it will stick with me forever and I will never look at breast cancer as just someone else has it , I will look at it as we need to be aware that this disease does exists and one out of hundreds we know someone who has had it or has it .

Well on our last leg of our journey to south Florida we ended up at our friends mother's place of business .

Royal Treatz , 7855 Pines Blvd. Pembroke Pines, Florida .

This is where home made cakes with real ingredients for a good price , cooked daily and freshed .

Now they are making a adult cupcakes for those naughty parties .

I'm just not saying this cause these are my friends but this is the truth these cupcakes are awesome .

While visiting our friends we seen a Hooters and there was a bike show so we stopped by and check out the bikes before we went for cupcakes .

There were alot of nice motorcycles , music wish we had more time to stay but from here we are looking at a 4 hr drive back home .

Well we surprised our friends and had a good time with each other .

I miss these trips my wife and I would take whether it's near or far we manage to have a blast with what little we have .

As we headed back home we bought a sample pack of mini cupcakes so while driving we have something to snack on .

But we were looking at getting home at 2am so we needed some sugar to keep us going .

We started out with seeing a sick friend in West Palm Beach to being on a highway heading to Miami then to eat at a food truck in Hialeah then finally a bike show & cupcakes in Pembroke Pines .

Now that's what you called being blessed in life and having a wonderful wife who knows how to have a good time .

I can't ask for anything more .

Till our next trip , Who knows who we will surprise because now were are taking the tittle of Surprise Trips to the limits .

Food Cart USA Food Truck Rally Benefit the Running with Sole Organization

Well while still in the south Florida area we decided to surprise my wife's friends who live in Hialeah and to go to a food truck rally .

As we seen on TV how food trucks go from parking lot to parking lot and set up to feed everyone .

On this day there was 18 food trucks and lots to choose from .

Some prices were high but we are in south Florida so that is to be expected and some prices were just right .

So I decided to have a hamburger with egg on it and ham , cheese with some kind of chips and some kind of sauce . It was ok but what marbelia had was better .

We seen a ice truck which my wife had and she drank some tiger blood which was funny .

They had music and entertainment but we couldn't stay till the night cause we still had another place to visit before we headed back home .

So we took advantage of the time we had at the rally and then headed on to our next destination .

Our Surprise Trip Took a Detour Through Miami

This is what happens when you don't know the area on hwy 95 and end up in Miami .

As my wife and I were trying to head out to Hialeah and we were so proud that we finally had a sun pass some how were stood in the sun pass lane but didn't realize it was a express lane .

As we seen the traffic build up I told my wife this lane looks better so I cut across the highway it all looked good then all of a sudden we passing traffic alright but we are locked in these lanes till the end .

And the end was in Miami .

As our GPS was saying exit right all we can do was wave bye bye .

Yes it was funny but we got a chance to see some of the city of Miami which I think our next trip we will spend a little longer .

It's funny how our surprise trip was a surprise to us but in the end we had a blast took alot of photos and videos .

It's amazing what fun you can have with someone you love and still manage to be happy .

So once we made our u - turn we made sure we didn't get on the expressway on the way to Hialeah .

Our West Palm Beach Surprise Trip

Today my wife and I decided we needed to visit a sick friend who has leukemia and has been in the hospital for about 2 weeks .

He lives in West Palm Beach Florida so this would be about a 3 hr drive and then from there we decided why not spend the day there too and have some fun .

As we arrived to the hospital we had to get out photo taken and show I.D. which was a surprise to us cause in Lakeland they don't do that all they do is give you a pass . But it was funny cause we didn't know when they were gonna take a photo so they get us making funny faces .

Well my friend Luis who I have been talking to on the phone had been re-admitted back to the hospital and a thought came to my head as I think back when I was in the hospital and how boring it can be and how visits can lift up people's spirits .

Plus we only have on life and our day can come in a blink of a eye so why not take advantage of a day off from work to visit a friend who was sick and make him smile .

So Luis was surprise to see us plus he is my V.P. of my car club in the south Florida chapter area and he had purchased a banner and some business cards so why not drop that off to him to .

So we sat around laughing and talking plus I had my go pro and made some videos of our journey as well .

Well Luis looks good and will be out soon and then from there he will need to come back weekly then monthly for out patient treatments .

I have known Luis for a long time and we have seen each others
ups and downs . We do not judge each other because of them we help each other guide through them .

I have never known anyone with leukemia but I do now.

Labor Day Weekend at Ana Maria Island 2011

Well with the summer coming to a end and not much happening this year we managed to sneak in a beach day even though for a few hours before I went to work but it was well worth it .

This summer has went by very fast with life's up and downs we still manage to to sneak away and do a few things hoping that it picks up soon .

The waves were nice because of a storm out in the gulf and it wasn't as hot as it usually is , but I had fun with the wife getting some sun .

How it all began is I had to work and since the beach was only about 1hr & 1/2 from lakeland and I didn't have to be at worked until four we woke up early got there around 7am and met up with our friends Mike & Julie who were staying at the Silver Surf Gulf Resort and we planted our butts on a private beach and had a great time .

Hopefully going into fall & winter we will have some nice things to do with the holidays coming up and usually means alot of events .

This summer has gone by real fast and we really haven't done alot of things like we would normally would do but we promise things will pick up as the income will start flowing in the home .

My Corolla Made it to a Ebay Ad

Well today I was searching through Ebay to see if I can find me a new set of headlights for my new front end modification to JDM look and I seen a ad for some headlights .

At first I was like WOW that looks like my car , Then all of a sudden I click on the link to see a larger photo and it is my car .

I noticed the Portugal flag in the mirror and the monkey in the corner so that tells me that this was when my wife first own it before we traded vehicles .

Plus the photos were the ones I took while going to meets .

You know I have have 2 choices be mad cause this vendor is making money off of me or be happy cause my dream was to get my car out
there and have everyone in the world to see my beautiful car and all the things I have done to it .

Out of all the millions of photos of corolla's that have the same headlights my photo of my car was chosen .

But I'm happy and proud . It really put a smile on my face and made me have butterflies in my stomach .

I have finally made the big times on Ebay and when people shop for headlights they will see my corolla as a inspiration to other corolla owners to modify their cars .

I only hope now when I change my front end it will be noticed too and I'm looking to see if possibly my wife's corolla made Ebay and if that happen ..... WOW I would probably go crazy ... But crazy in a good way .

Goals in my life are my wife & family first but goals for my cars , Well one car has been met .Plus my wife won a trophy in her car . Even though it's not in a magazine it's still in a advertisement .

Corolla Car Club 10yr Anniversary Meet in Ft. Myers

Well even though my wife and I have been with the club for about 4 years we signed up in 2007 and the corolla club started back in 2001 .

I managed to go from a central Florida chapter member with in 2 years of that I became the VP of the central chapter member then from that to the President of the whole entire club and started my own forum and continued a tradition that a friend of mine Rick Suyono started .

This whole time my wife was beside me with her
corolla cause she then became a fan of it and since
we are married that makes her the first lady of corolla car club .

What this club has brought to us is many friendships through out Florida , So that no matter where we drive to we know someone from each town .

This club might have started out different but the change I bring is " family " .

We have become a family of Toyota people who enjoy to have a good time with each other and have strong friendships .

Toyota BBQ Meet at Hanmark Park

Well I was in luck today when I seen I had this Saturday off , It gave me and my a opportunity to hang out in south Florida with our friends from the club .

Yes this was a BBQ held by newcelicaforum.org but as Toyota lovers we went there to support them .

It was nice to see all Toyota cars lined up and yes corolla car club did bring it on with alot of cars .

We were told by someone that we had the most Toyota's there . But it wasn't really about who had
more or less it was about supporting the Toyota community as a whole .

There was 3 other cars there from another club in south Florida called Vintage Imports . They had some nice old school Toyota's .

Well we had a blast and made new friends and of course took alot of photos and videos .

It just seems like every time we go down to south Florida we get refreshed and it feels like home .

But next Saturday we will have our clubs 10 yr anniversary BBQ and I hope this turns out to be one of the biggest meet ever that we held .

Our travels are starting to pick up which is good news and our life is becoming more happier after a long long down time .

Birthday Dinner , Bowling & La Fiebre

Well it's been along time since my wife and I have been out because of funds are low and it has been a long long time since I had a Saturday off in a year with out requesting it .

But when I was given Saturday off I took advantage of .

I got a couple of good friends from the car club and by luck it was one of their girlfriends birthday . So we turn it into a birthday celebration night with couples .

It started out with a hair cut from Isaac to buying a birthday card at walmart for Yesenia and then on our way to Outback Steakhouse in Kissimmee Florida .

Yesenia has never drank alcohol but we got her rolling with one wall banger especially since she was the birthday girl . We had a great time eating dinner and the girls having drinks , even though one of the workers who brought our food out gave us attitude . In the end our whole meal was free and they brought out more drinks & desserts all on the house .

From there we went bowling and got a couple of games in . My wife won the second game so that was special for her and Isaac won the first .

As the night was coming to the end we went to the fiebre which is a night street scene on orange blossoms trail road where we video taped cars running up and down the road . Hung out in the twistee treats parking lot where other import cars hang out until of course someone burned out or played loud music then the cops would come and break it up .

Even though my wife and I haven't been out to the fiebre in almost a year people still recognized her car plus other members of the club and friends we had made approached us to say whats up . The feeling was nice to know that the bond we made with people was still there .

Now that our child support ended our funds will slowly raise back up and our trips will continue with the blessing of the lord .

Well as I just learned this new craze call " Planking " and I decided to have fun with it on my facebook page .

I read how planking was started in Australia and has crossed to the United States .

I seen many many funny pictures of where people plank and what else to enjoy with your wife and have good laughs .

At first my wife was talking crap to me but in the end she knew deep down inside she wanted to have fun too .

Yes you must be careful where you plank and don't go hurting yourself and doing dangerous things .

It's already been reported there was one death , But when I do mine it wont be as dangerous , Just for fun with the wife .

My wife found these three and now she up to total over all 38 .

It's amazing how when we drive on our trips she is constantly looking for these signs , But she finds them and when she does either I turn around or I pull over so she can get a photo .

I don't think she has ever even eaten there cause I know I haven't , But the cows keep her happy and what ever makes my wife happy I will do .

Our Casey Marie Anthony Sentencing Experience

Well after watching the Casey Anthony trial on TV I find myself addicted to it . Seeing HLN news crew out there reporting which my wife and I always watch that channel I convince my wife that we should get up early and try to get on tv and meet some of the HLN crew .

Yes my wife and I are sad that the bitch got free but we were not the jury and nothing can change the verdict . So no matter what opinions we have it is what it is " NOT GUILTY " .

So we woke up that morning at 4am and headed
out to Orlando not knowing what this day would bring us .

We arrived there around 6:30am and parked the car in the court house garage and headed to the news media area . As we arrived we seen 3 protesters for Casey saying " Casey will you Marry Me " so that kind of hit a nerve with my wife and they got into a little argument . So I had to tell my wife that we are here as neutral people and are here to be on tv and just experience what was around us not to give our opinions .

As time passes the court house was starting to get full outside with people who have court dates as well as the Casey lawyers and more .

Finally one of Casey's attorney came and that started everyone to run with their cameras . That started a chain of lawyers arriving to the court house & more .

We set up in the back of the court house as the other attorneys were arriving and then all of a sudden the George & Cindy Anthony showed up , Jose Baez , Linda Drane Burdick , and all the other attorneys .

My wife told Linda good job and she responded back " Thank You " . Which surprised us because she looked so sad with her head down hoping that comment would lift some of her spirits .

Finally after Jose Baez tried sneaking in my wife got a photo and then we headed back to the front where the protesters were .

As we arrived to the front by this time it has definitely gotten crowded we take videos and photos and then we seen Jane Valez Mitchell
interviewing live in front of the court house .

Since I had wanted a picture with her this was great . By this time my phone started bl;owing up with text messages and ringing cause now our friends have seen us on tv .

Next thing I know my wife is being interviewed cause she was the only person who had photos of Jose Baez sneaking in the court house with the help of the Orange County Sheriffs and Jane wanted to go live and put it out there to the people his special treatment .

While the cameras were off she chatted with us and was real friendly .

We also met Vinnie Politan which he was down to earth too .

All in all this experience really touched us and something we will never forget .

It's been a long time since my wife and I have done stuff like this due to not having much money only for bills and house payments which are the main things in life , But this only cost us gas money which is cool . This was the first time we traveled without our cooler which that day was hot & muggy . But I had such a great feeling again doing stuff with the wife that it sparked my love for her all over just like the day we got married .

4th of July Fun , But I Had To Work

Well my wife had a 4th of July BBQ at the house and invited family & friends .

It was her sisters birthday and my daughters birthday that past and they threw it all in one big ole 4th of July party .

Even though I missed all the fun and fireworks my wife did manage to take some nice pictures of the night shots and I was amazed how she is learning to use the camera better then me .

But it was a success plenty of food & laughs and sitting on my corolla which pissed me off .

But all in all I'm happy my wife had a successful BBQ party .

This meet wasn't just about cars but it was more about friendship and hanging out down south like the good old times .

But the great thing was to again be with my wife and enjoying our life doing trips .

Today mark our 4 year Wedding Anniversary and we celebrated it with gifts & dinner .

It was hard to find a gift for my wife but I looked it up on line to find out what you buy on your 4yr wedding anniversary .

As I love being married and I want to follow all the rules of giving gifts on your wedding anniversary I found out that this year is the year of flowers.

So I bought my wife some dishes with flowers on it and a frame with our name on it to hang over the kitchen door .

I was hard to find nice things with flowers but since my wife was tired of the palm trees dishes I decided out with the old and in with the new and these dishes are our dishes .

My wife bought me a mini laptop but I think she bought it for her .

We went to Long Horn Steakhouse for dinner to end the evening on a beautiful night with my wife of 4 years and cant wait for many more .

Well it's that time again .

March of Dimes March for Babies .

Well for years my wife has been walking for the March of Dimes in Memory of her daughter Stephanie Lynn .

This year she we went beyond the call of just collecting money . My wife got a group of people to walk with her .

As tough as it was to get people to donate money and walk 6 miles was a job itself .

My wife manage to do it all this year and was very successful and after the walk she manage to put on a BBQ at the house for the people who participated .

Even though my wife walked with her boot on her leg still recovering from her broken foot she did the 6 miles with happiness and joy .

Until next year we will rest up .

Hand Me Down Clothes From My Father

Well usually my father asks me what size shirts I'm or pants and then he shows up with a bag of clothes that he has either been given or he bought , then he will drop it off at a charity place .

As my wife searches through the bag she might find a pair of pants or a shirt or two .

But this bag has to be the bags of bags . My wife found a pink outfit for a man and told me to try it on for fun .

I swear I don't know where he gets these clothes from but holy moly some clothes we see are to far out .

I won't be wearing this anytime soon but it was funny just to try it on .

Now till the next bag of hand me down clothes come , What will be next ??

Dying My Hair For The First Time In My Life

Well my wife was getting her hair dyed by my daughter and there was some black dye left over .

So I said " Fuck It " I will dye my hair then .

Even though I had never had my hair dyed I figured it couldn't hurt to go from brown to black .

But after getting it done and washing it out I did notice my hair was jet black like my wifes hair .

Other then having some stained my scalp the color did come out nice .

Next time who knows what color I might try next .

My Youngest Daughter Turns 18yrs Old Today

Well now I know I'm getting old .

Today my youngest daughter Amanda turned 18yrs old .

So now as I sit back and watch my kids live their adult lives . Making adult decisions .

Will I be a Grandfather before I die is the question now .

Well today my daughter celebrates her birthday at our house today my wife was in on a little surprise cake .

It's not even about not paying anymore child support , It's about all my kids have grown up .

Eating at Buffalo Wild Wings in Lakeland Florida

Well for many years I have seen Buffalo Wild Wings in Orlando and always tried to convince my wife to go eat there but she was never interested in going .

Finally they built one in Lakeland Florida right down the house from us and there was no way she could say no now .

So after getting out of work early and since I knew I had to work in Easter Sunday my wife and I decided finally to go to Buffalo Wild Wings . I have to say for the first time in this place it was amazingly nice and big with alot of TV's .

I called my son up and him and his girlfriend joined us and we had lots of laughs and food too .

The wings were tasty and so was the fried mushrooms .

But this is something my wife and I will enjoy eating again when ever we have the urge to eat some wings .

Another Chick-fil-A Cow Board in Tampa Florida

Well as my wife and I were heading to Clear water beach I was driving and my wife had her eyes and camera set on finding her Chick-fil-A cow board .

As we go from I-4 to 275 the official malfunction junction the cow board sign appeared and my wife jumped up her seat aimed her camera and snapped away .

Another one to add to my wife's hobby .

Who knows what the final count will be I just know I'm not gonna try to start counting .

Our First Official Beach Day Clearwater Beach 2011

Well it was bound to happen . The temperature is rising and steady no rain . My first time in a LONG time that I'm not working a Saturday .

Beach Time !!!!!

So my wife and some of our friends decided to hang out in the beach and tan , swim plus have some good laughs .

This was our official first day for 2011 to sit on the beach . We don't know if there will be more Saturdays to come out here but we might sneak in one during the week .

But after this sunburn I received I definitely won't be rushing back anytime soon .

Power Washing a Fence at My Sister-in-Laws House

Well on a nice cool sunny day I had volunteer to power wash my sister-in-laws and boyfriends fence to the house they moved in . They came from Massachusetts to live in Florida . The house they moved into is very nice but needed minor cleaning from not being lived in for awhile . So i power washed the house and the fence and now it is good as new .

My First Boo Boo on My Corolla

While I was a work today I had made a U-turn in a abandon gas station . While backing up I guess i brushed acrossed a metal pipe that use to protect what was gas pumps there . Not knowing I had messed up my bumper I continued to work and when I happen to walk around to the other side I notice a big long red mark on my bumper . It bothered me so much but the damaged wasn't bad it was all paint on the bumper not the bumper ruined . So when I got home I used bug out remover and got the bumper looking as good as new . Boy was I relieved .

Corolla Car Club Jazzy's Grill & Chill Benefit Meet Car Show

Well another successful meet for Corolla Car Club . Today we were at a charity event for a girl name Jazzy that Toyota Styles hosted in Tampa Florida . It was hot but we had fun and one of our members took home a third place trophy for best Toyota . My wife volunteered herself at the registration table even though it was hot but it was for a good cause . A Stormy Day in Lakeland Florida Tornadoes in the Skies

Well as the month of March was coming to a end there was a storm out in the Gulf heading towards us but before hitting Lakeland Florida it hit St. Petersburgh & Tampa first . When we woke up on this day at 7am from loud thunder and high winds we put Bay News 9 on to find out that our county was under a tornado watch from 7am till 8pm . On this day I still had to work and deliver pizza for Hungry Howies but that wasn't until 4pm so you can just imagine what I was thinking . With my wife's sister who just moved to Florida from Massachusetts we called to make sure things were OK cause right down the road from a about a few miles a tornado touch down on I-4 and heading east . Then within hours later as the second wave of storms passed through a second tornado passed through but this time it was by my old job in Auburndale . With everything blowing and flooding there was a third wave of wind and water a third tornado touch down but this time it was a few miles away from my sister in laws house . Finally by 3pm it wasn't over but the weather was dying down I had to head to work and deliver pizza to people who didn't want to come out but I had to come out for work . Yes I got wet but I made good money in tips and finally by 9pm the rain had stopped . This day will go into the record books as one of the worst weathers for March . But all in all the house was OK and we survived .

My Wife is Bored and Needs a Hobby

I'm hard at work making money and I get a phone call from my wife and what does she have to tell me ?

That there are two cows on the farm and one of the bulls is trying to have sex with a cow .

She was on the phone as if she was describing a love story .

My wife needs a hobby real bad or a full time job something to keep her mind busy and not taking photos of cows screwing around .

My Wife Can't Sit Still Even With Her Cast Off

Well even though my wife's doctor told her she is NOT suppose to be on her foot because they took off her cast temporarily because she broke a glass bottle of vinegar and had glass up in her cast and cut her foot .

Well she still continues to NOT listen and stay in one place cause it's so hard for her to do .

Well today she made me dinner with a computer chair on wheels.

One day she might learn that her leg isn't gonna heal until she sits her ass down and relaxes .

But when she goes to the doctors in a few days I'm sure their gonna break her leg so it will heal properly cause it's almost a year and she still has a cast on and is limited to certain things .

But I love her and I will take care of her cause as a husband that is my job .

She does alot for me, so to do things for her doesn't bother me at all .

I LOVE YOU JUDI !!!!!!!

Planting Bradford Pear Tree , Sweet Viburnum & Avocado

Well with spring only a few days away and the moon is full this is the week to plant or move any trees , flowers or garden .

Well on this day my wife and my dad moved our Avocado tree we have had since birth to where our old water oak tree use to be .

But with our Bradford Pear tree we grabbed off the highway somewhere in South Carolina and had it sitting in water my wife and my father finally planted it in the front of the house where hopefully in the future it will bloom its beautiful
white flowers even though they smell bad but they will go nice with the cream trim on the house.
With my wife studying how to plant this special tree from the Internet then she found another shrub for the back porch that she has been working on since last year .

The final touch of Sweet Viburnum was planted too in the back porch area now my wife's project is finally done and until they grow bigger and bloom white flowers too this tree smells sweet and when the wind blows the sweet smell will enter our home from the back windows .

As we still have the whole week to plant our vegetable's the main thing is our trees and flowers are planted and will be ready for the summer and many summers to come .

As we are preparing our home for the summer we still have plans to travel plus car shows too but as of right now our home comes first cause this is where we share our love together .

Painting Our House For The First Time Since it Has Been Built

Well after almost 6 years of seeing the same old color year after year people thinking the house is pink and not milk chocolate my wife finally found a color she liked and purchased the house paint .

The weather called for high 80's all week long and my wife can't walk on her foot because of a long story but I will make it short .

She broke a bottle in the closet of vinegar and it shattered in her cast and soaked it up inside so she had to get her cast taken off and can't walk on her foot until she sees the doctor again on wed.

Well I finally woke up early this morning and started painting the house .

Yes the sun was hot and beaming on me but I had a mission to do and my mission was to get our home looking good before spring arrives on Sunday .

I used up about 7 gallons of brown paint to do the whole house and the shed in the back yard plus 2 gallons of cream paint to do the trim and I had to do double coats on the cream color .

Yes it was a tough job to do for one person but a proud one too knowing only I painted the house for people to drive by and see the new color to our home .

As the house comes together with my wife doing her gardening and me doing the painting we will have something proud to see when it all blooms in the summer going into the winter .

Well even though this isn't an adventure or traveling the country roads but this is something that my wife and I can do together as we try to do all things together and share our love with each other .

Lakeland Florida is where our home is and now we have a brown house with cream trim .

More New Chick-fil-A Signs for 2011 from Traveling

Between Georgia , South Carolina & Florida my wife has found 8 new signs in our travel .

Yes it has been a fascination of my wife for a few years .

Anyone who has read my post from the beginning will know that every sign she sees she has to take a photo of .

I have officially lost count on how many total we have but for this year we already have started with 8 and that's a good start .

The Corolla that Takes Us On Our Trips " Ruby "

This Corolla has 305,700 miles in the motor .

Nothing but the starter has been changed . All the miles Ruby the Corolla has put on is from traveling the eastern part of the United States .

This was taken in Atlanta Georgia by a wall that had graffiti on it .

Jack in The Box in Rock Hill North Carolina

Holy smoke haven't seen one of these since New Jersey when they had Jack in The Box fast food places .

The crazy thing is it was in front of the hotel we were staying at .

I use to love coming here when my parents brought us to eat, before Burger King was famous Jack in The Box was the place to go .

Well of course I had to stop by there before we left and to snack on a sandwich .

Hops Restaurant in Matthews North Carolina Remembering Stephanie

Well we finally made it to Hops in Matthews North Carolina for Stephanie's in Memory dinner .

We arrived in Rock Hill North Carolina to our hotel then onwards to Matthews .

We got our balloons and my wife wrote her letter . We left 80 degree weather to 55 degrees .

As we arrived the manager of the store greeted us as usual and this time he helped my wife out
when she released the balloons for Stephanie .

It has been one year ago today when we found this restaurant and were given anything we wanted and today as tradition we got our meal for free .

This year they even surprised my wife with her favorite water that Hops stopped selling .

Thank You Hops for everything you do and the good employees you hire in Matthews North Carolina .

We ordered our meal we had good chats with the waitress & manager .

We remembered Stephanie then we headed back to the hotel so we could head home back to Florida to the warm weather .

Well my wife and I woke up the next day getting ready for the second part of our trip to North Carolina but before we leave Atlanta Georgia we ate at the famous The Varsity fast food .

Now this place was worth every penny .

They were filming a commercial and my wife some how got interviewed by PBS station which will air this friday .

This was a place Man VS Food went to and now we have to.

As we scratch off another food restaurant place where we wanted to go , The Varsity was number one in our book for hot dogs and chicken sandwiches .

Gladys Knight & Ron Winans Chicken & Waffles

Well one of the main reasons for stopping in Atlanta was to eat at Gladys Knights Chicken & Waffles restaurant .

After getting our hotel room and site seeing a little in Altlanta we decided to go eat some of this famous food cooked by a famous singer .

My opinion of Atlanta wasn't good all the buildings had graffiti on them and every other one was burned down . New York was a heck of alot cleaner than this place .

After ordering and eating the food I really wasn't impressed even though the food was ok but not really nothing to make me come back and want to spend $60 on .

Sad thing was a bus load of people came and the black people came in to eat while all the white people stood outside waiting on the others on the tour bus to eat so they can go on to there destination .

That really turned me off to see that

I know Atlanta is known as a rough place to grow up and all, but wow people clean up your city and be proud , You have alot of history and yet your city looks like a hurricane hit it and you guys never recovered .

The people in certain areas were rude and seemed like there was racism on both ends but hey I don't have to live here .

But now my wife and I can say we went to Gladys Knights place and ate .

We still love her and her music but her restaurant is not where I will be visiting again .

Fire Station No. 6 Museum in Atlanta Georgia

Fire Station No. 6 was built in 1894 and served the "Sweet" Auburn community until 1991. Hear about the desegregation of the Atlanta Fire Department and view a 1927 American LaFrance fire engine at the museum.

This fire truck ran until 1991 putting out fires in the area where Martin Luther King Jr. was born and raised .

After speaking to the tour guide this was the first fire station where black & white people worked together to save houses .

This was another area where Martin Luther King Jr. grew up only 7 houses away and where he used to hang out or walk by every day of his life .

Amazing how history stands still for you to observe and study .

Amazing how Atlanta has so much history and I never knew anything about .

Ebenezer Baptist Church Atlanta Georgia

Can't believe my wife and I were standing in front of the church where Martin Luther King Jr. use to help preach at right down the block from his place of birth .

Martin Luther King, Jr. who was he , What did I really know about this famous man who changed the history of America and Civil Rights .

As my wife and I head to North Carolina we decided to make a stop in Atlanta and spend a night there since they had a few things we wanted to do and see .

Martin Luther King , Jr. Museum seemed to be interesting as I was reading about it on line .

What I really thought I knew about this man
really exposed myself that I really knew nothing about him .

After reading everything in the museum and talking to the people who worked their about the history of what happened was when I really took it all in .

This man had alot of wisdom words as if God planted him on earth to save not only black people but the freedom of the future of Americans .

I happened to touch the wooden Hurst that his
casket was in .

I got to see the street where Martin Luther King , Jr. grew up and played I even got to see the house he was raised in and his neighborhood the way it was exactly when he was alive .

I thought alot of things happened in Atlanta but they didn't . It was in his travels where alot of things happened .

Reading his quotes really makes you think as a person not as a certain race . His words were for all man kind and if you did follow your own dreams you can achieve alot .

So I guess on my next travels I have to go to Memphis and learn more about his cause .

But I was honored to be where a great man was born and I leave here knowing a little more than what I really knew about him .

Plus knowing more about him made me more curious to study his history and his legacy which in the past I wouldn't have cared .

His words give inspiration and hope about life .

I couldn't believe how close this part of history was by me and I had never visited or heard of this place .

I think on my next travels I want to do the history of America and learn what I should have learned in school but up close and personal .

Not many people have been here , Not many people know his history .

But I was lucky to do both in one day .

One of his quotes that really had me thinking was this one " Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness. "

This one too " Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man's sense of values and his objectivity. Ft. Myers Corolla Car Club BBQ Meet

This time with our new chapter on the forum which is called the West Coast Florida Chapter in Ft. Myers .

Yes it may have started late but by the end of the night you can pat yourself on the back and be proud .

My wife and I had a great time and a nice cruise back home looking at the lights on the road and your speed odometer .

Now we will get ready for our three day journey next week .

Valentines Day 2011 Dinner and Presents

Well finally after I couldn't buy my wife a present for Christmas I was able to buy her a Valentines gift .

A box of candy and a necklace by Jayne Seymour called " Open Hearts " .

As we traveled with my sister in law to Outback steak house for a Valentines dinner then walked through Fun spot amusement park it was a a day to remember .

Not only were we full but we were tired.

Happy days and a Happy Valentines Day to my wife !!!

Corolla Car Club UTI Car Show Meet in Orlando

Good times and good friends at a car show meet gathering .

As my wife and our car club got together and hung out with other car enthusiast what turned out to be a normal day wound up being entertaining and fun .

Met some new members of Corolla Car Club and hung out with the old ones as well .

This is our first meet for 2011 and others are to follow .

Of course my wife's car gets all the spoils and attention as usual .

But it's about having fun with friends who have the same interest .

George Steinbrenner's Stadium New Statue

Well 7 months have passed since George Steinbrenner passed away and my wife and I revisited the Yankees training camp stadium and a new statue of the late George Steinbrenner has been erected in honor of his great success in life.

As the weather warms up and my wife and I make plans to travel once again we are starting to map out our plans .

The Green Hornet in IMAX 3D is The Way to Watch a Movie

Well even though this month has not been a adventurous month but we manage to get a second movie in .

But this time for the first time we went to a IMAX 3D , Though the tickets were more money but we manage to pay Senior prices .

The Green Hornet was a awesome movie and well worth paying the price even though on that day we didn't get to sneak into another movie but next time we will .

But we did learn something and that is IMAX 3D is the way to watch all movies with action .

We lined up a list of things to see in the future and hopefully our adventures will pick up .

Movie Date Yogi Bear & Black Swan then OutBack Steak House

Well today my wife and I went to see Yogi Bear in 3D .

It was a good 3D movie because the animated parts really look as if there right in front of you .

Shortly after that we snuck in to see Black Swan . Now this movie was crazy strange but good movie .

Then from there we went to dinner where Outback didn't have A-1 steak sauce but they went next door to Fridays to get a bottle for me so I can eat in peace .

Starting out the new year in the right direction just like last year we started out slow and by the summer time we were traveling strong .

But I got to spend a nice time with the wife as usual .
